What makes a strong pitch

Send a focused premise, the question the piece will answer, why it matters to a general reader and a short note on your approach. A useful pitch has a distinct angle, stays within what its evidence can support and does not depend on unverified claims, invented scenes or access presented as fact.

Submissions should be original, readable and transparent about sources, relevant experience and any interests that could affect the work.
